Im So Glad The F1 Season Is Here,,, Lots Of Exciting Stuff Going On.

The 2023 F1 grid is finally settled. We've said goodbye to Sebastian Vettel, Mick Schumacher and Daniel Ricciardo, but welcome Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri as rookies and Nico Hülkenberg returns after two seasons away.

Stroll missed the whole of pre-season testing after the training crash, which happened when he was on his bicycle.

Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 future is settled for now, as his expected return to Red Bull as reserve driver.

Gasly finally joins Alpine for 2023,,, Piastri replaces Ricciardo at McLaren,,, Sebastian Vettel retired and Fernando Alonso replaces him over at Aston Martin.

The F1 season got underway 2day with the first race of the season with the Bahrain GP >  It wasn't overly exciting but Lance Stroll Finished the race spite broken wrists and toe, Alonso showed his talent with a great pass on Lewis for 3rd place, Gasly impressed by finishing in the top 10 coming from behind in 20th place grid start, Ferrari weren't without troubles as Leclerc DNF'd.

RedBull seam 2 B Set 4 another championship title as well as poss. constructers top spot as well. I Believe Ferrari and Aston Martin will fight it out for 2nd place in the overall standings, And then there's Mercedes, they showed Re-Design that car because its already showing signs of misery 2 the team drivers of both Russell and Lewis.

Let me know what u think >>> Fav driver and where u C the season going.

George Russell summed up the mood in the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday night when he chillingly predicted Max Verstappen’s Red Bull team will win all 23 races this year.

Defending world champion Verstappen picked up where he left off with a crushing display to take the chequered flag at Formula One’s season opener in Sakhir, crossing the line 11 seconds clear of Sergio Perez in the other Red Bull.

As Verstappen dominated, 41-year-old Fernando Alonso provided the spark to a tame race as he duelled with old foe Lewis Hamilton to claim the final spot on the podium. Hamilton finished fifth.

But Alonso, albeit in a rejuvenated Aston Martin, took the chequered flag nearly 40 seconds behind Verstappen, with Hamilton 51 adrift.

I want to see Alonso up there with the Red Bulls and putting them under pressure

Really Nice thread started R34P3R

Well Done

ThnX reap for this... mind fixing my place also... only in wood!!!

The thing I´m mostly curious about this year is:

Since Bottas is Fin ok that´s one but ad then..

How many Audi(rebranded) parts are gonna be fitted to the "2022" Ferrari and

might be better? ... allways good when some new angle is "inserted" into this...

Same as Benetton did, brought a new angle on how to do things and suddenly they

where the top team.. (Ok some grey areas where there but...)

I don't think Aston Martin will amount to much, only one race in. Mercedes just can't get to grips with this design and Ferrari will bounce back nothing surer. He is a fine driver but Verstappen will win again this season ( I really hope he doesn't) Hamilton has this season to make it 8 and I can't see that happening. Keep an eye on those two Ferrari drivers. Red Bull virtually run the F1 show anyway so not much hope for anyone else lol . It pains me to see my favourite team Williams in the position they are........ But one can hope 🙂

Im sure, Fernando Alonso expects some difficult races to begin with at Aston Martin, but i think this Aston Martin Formula 1 car can provide a good baseline to fight for wins and podiums.

He is Hungry for another title, but i also think he will do well but Verstappen gonna run away this year again

Alonso won his first drivers' Championship in 2005 before retaining the title in 2006.

After Bahrain hosted the Inaugural race of the new season, Saudi Arabia is next in line to host the event. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is going to take place at Jaddah Corniche Circuit. The race coverage starts on 25th March with practice sessions followed by qualifying on Saturday and the big race on Sunday. It will be the second time Saudia host a Grand Prix race. Let’s check 10 interesting Facts about Saudi Arabian GP.

1). First ever Race

Formula 1 made its first visit to Saudi Arabia for the penultimate round of the 2021 season. Taking place on the 6.175km Jeddah Corniche Circuit, last year’s race was a highly dramatic affair

2). Night Race

Last season, It was the fifth full-night race title on the Formula One calendar. It happened due to the hot climate of Saudia Arabia.

3). Rosewater Spray

Instead of spraying Alcohol after winning the race, the Driver usually sprayed rose water. The reason is Formula 1 teams are not allowed to display the logos of alcohol sponsors on their cars at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The top three drivers spray a non-alcoholic rosewater drink called Waard during the podium celebrations instead of the traditional champagne.

4). Fastest lap

Jaddah Corniche Circuit consists of 50 laps which are 6.174 km. The fastest lap speed was 1:30.734 covered by none other than Lewis Hamilton.

5) Only One Constructor won the race

So far, Mercedes is the only constructo

Red Bull: F1 advantage will "melt away" as wind tunnel penalty bites

Red Bull thinks that the edge it has in Formula 1 will ‘melt away’ over the season as the impact of its 2023 wind tunnel penalty bites.

The Milton Keynes-based squad was handed a 10% reduction in aero development time for this season, as well as a $7 million fine, after it was found to have breached the cost cap on its way to helping Max Verstappen win the 2021 drivers' title.

While it believes it has limited the impact of the sanction so far in developing its RB19, it is under no illusions that things will get harder from here on in.

And its motorsport advisor Helmut Marko says that as the season rolls on, the advantage that its rivals have in being able to develop more will help them close the gap.

In an interview on the YouTube channel of Motorsport.com's sister publication Formel1.de, Marko said that Red Bull was far from relaxed despite looking comfortable in front right now.

"We prepared ourselves optimally for the season," he said. "Once we knew that this penalty would be imposed, it was clear that, when we went into the wind tunnel, it had to be done in an efficient manner and each run with a clear plan.

"At the moment, we've managed to do all that. But, of course, as the season progresses and we run out of wind tunnel time, the others will still have that available and our lead will then melt away.

"That's why it's extremely important that we take the points with us now."

Despite Red Bull dominating the F1 season opener in Bahrain, Marko does not believe the performance of his team there is indicative of how it will fare at every track.

Asked about Mercedes driver George Russell's claim that Red Bull will win every race this season, Marko said: "No. So this statement by Russell can perhaps be explained by the current frustration of the Bahrain race.

"It was a race on a specific circuit where the surface is extremely rough, which means that tyre wear plays a very big role.

Are Mercedes in trouble so early in the season

The build-up to this weekend's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is already well underway, with Lewis Hamilton aiming to recover from his disappointing fifth-placed finish in Bahrain last time out by targeting a podium finish on the streets of Jeddah. The Brit looks set for another turbulent campaign due to Mercedes' lack of pace but will be hopeful that things will improve for the Silver Arrows when they travel to the Gulf state later this week.

It seems as though Mercedes will struggle to challenge Red Bull on a consistent basis over the course of this season, with the Austrian outfit clearly the quickest team on the grid after securing a dominant one-two finish in Bahrain earlier this month. Mercedes recently vowed that they will not panic if their sluggish pace continues in a rare open letter to fans, with Toto Wolff and his colleagues doing everything in their power to stop the rot by working hard to find some much-needed performance gains at the team's Brackley headquarters.

"It hurt the team as a whole, after pouring so much hard work into a car that hasn’t met our expectations," read the letter, which was published in the aftermath of the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix.

"And we know it hurt you, our fans, too. Your passion and support are so important in driving us forward – and we know that we feel the same pain. We won’t panic or make knee-jerk reactions. In a spotlight as fierce as F1, people are quick to point fingers, or look for scapegoats. But you know us better than that."

Stunning Red Bull RB18 show car simulators to go on sale via F1 Authentics

Red Bull have partnered with sports memorabilia specialist Memento Exclusives to offer up some very special show car simulators based on their ultra-successful RB18 car – giving F1 enthusiasts the opportunity to bring the racetrack into their homes.

Red Bull won a staggering 17 races from 22 with the Adrian Newey-penned RB18 in 2022, while Max Verstappen stormed to a second successive drivers’ title and team mate Sergio Perez chipped in with a contribution to the constructors’ crown.

Now Red Bull’s design is being honoured with a pair of static show car simulators, which will be manufactured using the same process as genuine F1 cars at Memento Exclusives’ HQ in Northamptonshire in the UK.

The simulators will be available in two special editions: ‘The Champions Edition’ and ‘The Race Edition’, with the former featuring a front wing assembly and both coming with the option of either Verstappen or Perez-themed liveries.

The simulators, priced at RRP £99,999 for The Champions Edition and RRP £74,999 for The Race Edition, will be available to buy directly from the official F1 memorabilia e-commerce platform, F1 Authentics – with the first deliveries expected this month.

“We are delighted to have co-created a unique sim racing experience that puts drivers in the cockpit of the championship-winning RB18,” said Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner.

“Driving a Formula 1 car is something most of us can only dream of, but this simulator is as close as it gets to the real thing. Memento Exclusives have recreated the car to bring the track into your home.”

Barry Gough, Founder and CEO of Memento Exclusives, added: “We are delighted to finally share new
