Former cop Burke Wyatt loves his son and is separated from his wife. When Burke's approached by his former partner who works for the FBI, he is offered $250,000 for his son's education and an opportunity to join the FBI, if he goes undercover in a prison where inmates are dying at a high rate. It is suspected that the prison warden is involved in the deaths but there's not enough evidence to convict, so it's up to Burke to take the fall for a crime in order to go inside and find out the truth.
