Wandering the busy streets of Paris, the defrocked former priest, Mathis Vogel, is convinced that he is on a holy mission from God: rid the world of sin. With this in mind, while having faith in his supposed gift to expel demons, murderous Vogel infiltrates a Black Mass, where the depraved hosts simulate torture to satisfy their thrill-seeking guests.
