WindowTop is a utility for keeping windows on top of all others. The program is shareware, but the Free version has limitations. You'll have to reset the window positions each time you use it, as saving settings is only available in the Pro edition.
You can download WindowTop Pro for free from us; the archive includes a crack for activating the full version.
It's generally simple to use; after launch, it stays in the system tray and stays out of the way. Hover your cursor over the top of any window, a small arrow appears. Click it, and a toolbar appears. This toolbar appears on any window, regardless of how it's displayed, and you can drag it anywhere you like. From this toolbar, you can adjust the opacity, enable dark mode, resize a window, or pin it on top of others.
Among the features I would note:
Transparency is convenient when you need to see what's going on outside the window; you copy data from one window to another without having to switch back and forth.
Pin a topic on top of all other standards for chats, notes, or reference materials
Lock the position and size to prevent the window from being accidentally moved.
Window shading minimizes the window to the title bar, which is a lifesaver on small screens

You can also customize the title bar: you can hide it completely or change its color and size. It's a small thing, but sometimes useful. The program is lightweight, uses virtually no resources, and runs unnoticed in the background. DeskPins is similar to it —a very simple free utility that can only pin windows on top, that's all. OnTopReplica , also free, can display a clone of a window on top of others, but its functionality is different.
