Shakin' Stevens' singles began to break into the British and European charts in the early '80s, with "This Ole House" becoming his first chart-topper. Throughout the '80s, Stevens scored 15 top-ten hits in the UK. He became the most celebrated English hitmaker of the '80s, with his singles spending more time at the top of the charts than any other artist (254 weeks in total). During this time, he recorded more hit singles than anyone else (30), as well as nine number-one albums. The collection also includes the previously unreleased track "Wild at Heart."
