E06 Manx for the Memories Buckle up with Roo Irvine and Danny Sebastian as they get a taste of Island life, crossing the Irish sea to the Isle of Man in their oh-so-charming Morris Traveller. It’s a whistlestop tour of Manx antiques emporia, where Roo takes a fancy to an entire school of glass fish and thumbs through a glossy style magazine from the 1930s. Danny tunes in to a very stylish small screen and chances his arm with a hefty item with leonine appeal. But it’s not all about the shopping. With the island’s TT racing spirit in the air, our duo detour to the Isle of Man Motor Museum, where things get just a little bit chaotic with some home-grown, pint-sized rides. Then it’s off to the very first showdown, under the watchful eye of road trip legend Anita Manning. But will it be fur or fins that wins the bidders over? E07 Blackpool Rocks! It’s a rollercoaster ride as antiques dealers Roo Irvine and Danny Sebastian beat a path to Blackpool and beyond in their trusty steed, Felix, a 1963 Morris Traveller. Hitting the antiques shops of Lancaster, our pair unearth a whole hoard of treasures. Roo sets her sights on a bit of sparkle and goes glassy-eyed for a vase that reminds her of a seaside holiday sweet treat. Danny tries to carry away a hefty item that could be the start of someone’s publishing empire, and there's a box with a little touch of magic. Taking a cheeky wildlife break, our pair don their wellies and muck in with efforts to clear out invasive plants from a former quarry turned nature reserve to make space for its inhabitants. Then it’s off to auction to see if Roo’s bit of bling can enchant the saleroom or Danny’s magic box can conjure profits out of thin air. E08 Whistlestop Shopping All aboard the Antiques Express! Dealers Danny Sebastian and Roo Irvine steam into Cheshire and the West Midlands on the third leg of their adventure together. Expect trains, high-speed shopping and a spot of spotting. Scouring the shops, Roo comes across a find from her homeland, with tartan and thistles aplenty, and takes time for an item that would grace any art deco mantelpiece. Danny’s excitement is stoked by a bit of brass with an added extra and a heavyweight item with a flavour of seaside entertainment. Then it’s down the track to Crewe, the epicentre of all things locomotive, where our pair grab their jotters and discover the appeal and surprising history of a much-maligned pastime. This service terminates at a saleroom in Glasgow. Will Roo’s Scottish discovery serve up a profit? Or will Danny’s doorstop be 'the way to do it'? E09 Danny's Coming Home Roo Irvine and Danny Sebastian roll into Northamptonshire in Felix, their faithful vintage Morris Traveller, hunting for antiques, oddities and a bit of auction glory. Danny is on home turf and seems to know half the county, but Roo is not about to let local advantage steal the show. But what will make the money? Roo takes a fancy to something with a sporting swing, though she will be hoping to avoid any bogies. Danny has his eye on a cracking little curiosity with more than a hint of egg about it and grapples with a sizeable garden ornament. Along the way, the pair get wrapped up in an ancient Japanese textile art form and meet the woman who is trying to bring this dying craft back from the brink. All roads lead to Windsor, where a Thames-side auction decides who has played a blinder. E10 Windsors and Losers Roo Irvine and Danny Sebastian swagger into Hampshire for the last round of their titanic tussle. Heading for the south coast in their mighty Morris Traveller, our pair both have their eyes on the prize. Venturing into Jane Austen country, the tall and handsome Mr Danny gets all romantic over silver, as well as playing the dummy. Roo breaks out her torch for a rummage in a spooky antiques basement before popping her cork over some Champagne-themed novelties and contemplating a pair of quintessential lawn ornaments. In a break from the buying, our twosome take a trip to an ancient country pile whose fortunes were turned around by the addition of a futuristic mode of transport. And Roo gets to drive Danny round the bend for a change. Then it all comes down to a final showdown in Windsor. It’s mannequins versus gnomes, and there can be only one winner!
