(Subtitle) Encoder.........: Roronoa_Zoro ▣ Video: The new JPN 2026 BD has a new 4K restoration of the movie, which fixed a lot of issues of the older remaster. The colors look more natural now; the greenish tint of some frames has been removed, so overall it's a welcome upgrade, and used it as the video source of this remux. The source had flat dark areas a lot, so a light grain was added to those areas to prevent banding or detail loss. ▣ Audio: The movie has a total of 3 mixes, one is the surround, the second is the stereo & newly released Atmos track in the JPN UHD BD. => Stereo: Pretty much all are similar mixes, and the DVD ones are lossy. So, went with the JPN 2026 BD for this one. => Surround: And the same goes for the 5.1 mix also, taken from JPN 2026 BD. Tho HKG is in the wrong channel layout, and some weird phasing is going on in GER, it looks like it's inverted. The issue still remains the same here, as some of the channels on the Japanese 5.1 track clip during a few very loud points in the movie, but it’s nothing too bad. => Dub: Pretty much similar mixes across all the sources. Taken from JPN 2026 BD for slightly higher frequencies. => Atmos: Only the JPN UHD BD has it, so it was taken from it. ▣ Subtitles: The English subtitles from the JPN & GBR BD, Italian, German & French subtitles were OCR'ed & checked by me. Fortunately, the CR WEB had the Dub track subtitle on it, so it was taken from there. Added hydes version of the English subtitle, which was a modified version of THORA’s subtitle. The Bandai Namco & Anime Ltd subtitles had a bit of a different translation. So choose which one you prefer. The Chinese & Japanese subtitles were taken from @zimuku, the Romanian subtitle was by @Alexander Dowry & the Greek subtitle was from @HDB. ▣ Chapters: The new JPN BD had only Japanese-named chapters, where the older JPN BD had both official Japanese and English names in it, so choose to add them here. They were synced to the closest I-frames. Used the QP file to ensure chapters on IDR frames. ▣ Repack Reasons: The previous release had untouched hydes sub, which had its typesetting matching the old remaster, so in this repack, those signs were adjusted to match the new remaster.
