The workflow is simple: simply add files individually or specify an entire folder, and the program will automatically select the appropriate ones. It supports MP3, WAV, OGG, and FLAC audio formats. You can save the result as an LRC, SRT, VTT, or simple text file; you can separately set the maximum line length and the folder for the resulting files.
Recognition is based on Whisper models from OpenAI; they are stored directly on the disk after installation, so the internet is completely unnecessary. The processor calculates the performance, so it's best not to overclock it on a weak laptop, as it will slow down. There are four models, from the smallest to the heaviest. The basic model is sufficient for clean recording, but a noisy live rig should be upgraded to a larger model.
Timings are precise, subtitles are applied smoothly, and manual adjustments are almost non-existent, although they are necessary for accuracy. Incidentally, many languages ??are recognized, including Russian.
The program doesn't support video, which is a major pitfall, so if you want subtitles for a clip, first extract the audio track using ffmpeg or any converter.
